What Plato’s Allegory of the Cave is trying to illustrate to many, is that there are different realities between being inside the cave and being outside the cave in the real world. The prisoners inside the cave, are a customed to their lifestyle being chained up from behind, seeing the light from the fire, the shadows from animals, hearing echos, and shadows from people and objects ,so they have no clue on what’s going on outside of the cave. However, a prisoner gets released to the outside world, after adjusting to the outside world the released prisoner sees how nice it is and gets a different perspective on the outside world thinking it’s not so bad.
